Mika Panduwinata (b. 1998, Jakarta, Indonesia) is a self-taught Amsterdam-based photographer working exclusively with film in medium format and 35mm since 2014. His work comprises portraits, unfiltered moments from within his own circles, editorials, and commissioned work. His current focus is to excavate and document lived-experiences of marginalised individuals and communities through photography, including undocumented Indonesian immigrants in the Netherlands, drought-prone rural communities in West Timor, etc.
Aside from photography, Mika is an entry-level professional in the international development industry with a keen interest in social transformation processes related to livelihoods, agro-food networks, sustainable development, and environmental issues in dynamic international contexts.
